Lucien Razafindraibe is a laptop board repair technician and instructor who has trained thousands of students around the world.

He grew up in Madagascar without a mother, and he didn't let his circumstances dictate his future. Instead, he taught himself electronics from scratch using free resources he found online, and landed his first laptop board repair job in 2014. That experience showed him just how much faster people learn with the right mentor — and he's been teaching ever since.

Now based in Bali, Lucien has personally repaired over 200 boards and continues to teach full-time — it's still his favorite part of the work.
